We are facing unprecedented threats to our democracy, to our freedoms, and to our livelihoods. 

We know Trump and his MAGA allies do not have the people’s interest at heart.

And they think they can get away with it. 

They are counting on us being uneducated — counting on us forgetting what they’ve done — being distracted by the constant barrage of absurdity that dominates current events and news. 

We refuse to forget. We refuse to be blinded. Our mission is to educate, expose, and empower — and to hold these bad actors accountable.

That’s why we organized this town hall. Our panel of experts will break down the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” (Budget Reconciliation Act) — exposing its actions, consequences, and timeline.

The event will feature keynote speakers and supporting documents that will educate attendees and empower people to have meaningful conversations with their friends and families. 

There will also be a Q&A where people can ask questions directly to the panel.

• Rebecca Vogul, LPN, a nurse and tireless advocate for women’s rights, discusses the critical role of Planned Parenthood and the fight for safety and choice.
• Frank Konecny, on SNAP benefits, why nutrition assistance matters to 600,000 Colorado families, and the ripple effects across our communities.
• Chris McLeod, on how words are being twisted and weaponized — and how to reclaim language to connect effectively with people you care about.
